  • Ideally, I am looking for a full-time position. I have been a freelance author and editor part-time for the past fifteen years. I have finally come to a place in my life where I have decided to be full-time in my career as a copywriter, editor, or instructional designer.
  • My resume speaks for itself regarding my experience as a teacher, but it does not reflect my experience in writing, editing, and instructional design very well.

Do You Have Experience Writing and Editing Professionally?
  • I have been writing and editing professionally for over 15 years. I have one published title and I have edited several published titles. 
  • I have a portfolio with samples of some of my work here. My published book If God's So Great, Why Does My Life Suck? is among the samples provided.
  • I have served as editor for Rockie Sue (Fordham) for many years, and have worked on several of her projects.

Do You Have Experience With Instructional Design? What About for Adults?
  • I have created curriculums from beginning to end. I have designed them from the mapping and worked them all the way through to the daily lesson planning, including all materials to teach the lessons.
  • I am familiar with several LMS programs, and as most of them are very similar, it would not take long to become familiar with any LMS.
  • I am also familiar with designing for eLearning. I have knowlege of Moodle, TalentLMS, and Udemy. I am certain I can become proficient with any platform in short order.
  • I am fully versed in adult learning theory and have designed lessons successfully using gamification, the most engaging and effective learning techniques, always keeping in mind andragogy, the willingness of adults to learn because they understand the benefits to their personal and professional lives.
